71 50 hrs help

so my lower unit is cracked but everything els is good. what would you guys concider doing. try and find another lower unit or try and find just a housing and put my stuff in it?

if you have to remove your lower unit, I would reccomend rebuilding it with new parts, or just buy a new lower end. You will be very upset if you just bought the case and but your old parts in it, and the next week a old part went bad, been there done that
