As a kid I remember this trick. But we didn't have the back of the can cut completly out; just a few quarter sized holes all over the can.

too easy...... a rigid three point harness would work....the small aprature at the trailing end would probably shoot the tail farther....but a rigid harness is the key.

after i get done my project... ill give it a whirl......it will be fantastic for jet fleas

Has anyone tried tieing the string to the boat under water, on a fish finder bracket or something?

This post is still going around! How many people you think are towing around soup cans as a result of this thread. I'll keep my eye out for you poor souls with soup cans.
I think someone should run two inch PVC along the side of the boat end that pipe with a 1 inch reducer going to a 45 angle out of the water. if that doesn't work nothing will and this thread can die a humble death.

and im gonna build it......3 point ridgid harness.....any soup can or whatever you want.........its the harness that will make it happen

Ok guys , in Bush gardens tampa the is a coaster called Shiekra after the second drop the coaster goes in a tunnel and there are two jets that shoot out water all over the crowd !! it was shaped like a scoop with the top out !! do you guys know what i mean ?? think we need to go with some thing like that !!! john
