I have a 1970 Arrow v-hull 16ft fiberglass boat.

It seems to float very lower in water. Most of weight , engine, battery's, fuel are in the back. But nose seems to float very low in water .

Can foam be added to the boat under the floor to make ride high out of the water when floating and at low speeds?
or would just add more weight and not really do anything?

Ayuh,..........

In order to Float Higher,....... You've got to Lighten the load, or Displace More Water.......

Adding Anything,... Including Foam is Just Adding More Weight...........

Just a thought.... Maybe you're toting around X gallons of water already in wet components. Worth a look??? KR

drill a hole in the floor and see if there is wet foam under it. you could have as much as 300 lbs of water.
