150 hp Johnson Fast Strike problem

My trim shorts out at times, and once my trim shorts I can no longer crank my boat. My gauges also stop working once this happens. I think that it is some kind of relay switch problem but i dont know. Any help appreciated. Thanks

What fuse do you have to replace when it shorts, it might also go to the rest of the items.

I have checked all of the fuses many times, and none of them are blown

so if no fuses blow, how do you rectify the short??

You have two tilt/trim relays one up and one down. Which one shorts? What year is the motor? Have you replaced the relays before?

I have a 95' 150 fast strike, I am having a problem with my oil pressure alarm sounding off, I talked to the dealer and he said to put some oil in my fuel as a precaution, I did that and it still sounds off, He thinks it's a oil sending unit. Has anyone else ran into this before? I wanted to ask to see if anyone could help. Thanks Carguy
