New Water Impeller

[Chum Bum]

been trying like hell to figure out what year this lil outboard motor's year is to replace the water pump impeller....it's a Mariner 4hp I am thinking it's a Yamaha serial number is 6E0-S-071732 model 4M...I just want to to buy the right water impeller....I have found one site..that states that according to the serial that it's a 1985...but not sure...I just bought the boat 2 weeks ago..
any help is appreciated...

Take the serial number to the mercury dealer and he will be able to provide the correct part number.
