I'm cleaning out my Dad's garage and found this old engine with its operation manual. It probably hasn't run in 10 years. Do people buy these? Would anyone want it? I hate to throw it in the trash. (Atlanta / Lanier area)
My stepdad had one when I was a kid. I don't ever remember it breaking down. Other than that I don't know much about them. Someone on this site will though. Don't trash it! Even if it doesn't run the manual and parts are worth something to someone. MJ

I m too far from your place ... but I would LOVE to get my hand on that OB. It's an air cooled engine so if you decide to start it (or try) make sure you use lawn mower type 2 cycle oil (not outboard) because they run real hot in oposite to an outboard that runs on the cool side. Castrol makes such oil available at Walmart. I m sure someone on this board living close to Atlanta will pick it up.
I would recommend throwing it on ebay, but if you were to throw it away, I am in Cartersville, and my dad works in Smyrna, so if it isn't to far from our side of town, we might take it.
But, I would tell ya to throw it on ebay though. You could get a pretty penny for it.
