Evinrude WHAT IS IT ?????

Bought for my husband It is a runner and looks like new under the cowl Well taken care of the previous owner moved out of state gave me wrong manual and I do not know what it is, the shift handle is broken and I would like to know what it is so I can get parts when needed
Model #5302M Serial# E10166 Fisherman on cowl is this a 9 or 10 hp??? can I still get parts?? any info would help
The manual he gave me was for an Evinrude Fleetwin Aquasonic models 7516-7517 with 7514 also stamped on it. I think this went to the other motor he sold so if you need to know something reguarding these units I can look it up in the owners manual I have, it covers the basics and has a schematic for these units

You can call Evinrude with the serial number, and they can tell you the year and model of the engine.

You have a 1963 motor and it is 5 1/2 horsepower. The shift lever is part number 278262. Ask a dealer if it is still available. If not, go to the Antique Outboard Motor Club's website at aomci.org and post a free want ad on their Webvertize page.

The owners manual he gave you is for a 1954 Evinrude 7.5 hp, but the information still pertains to your motor.
