OMC..1988 temp sender..

Hello all..
I am new to this site and fairly new to boating..
I have purchased a 1988 Mirage Intruder with a 350 OMC.. the boat has had new gauges installed but the temp gaueg does not work.. Obviously I do not want to risk any overheatign until I gett his fixed..

I have looked around the engine but cannot locate the sender..

Anyone have a diagram and or can tell me where to look and what it looks like..

Also anyone know of any online manuals..
I do not think I have the original engine.. the boat has roller lifters and an Edelbrock performer manifold installed..

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look on the top front of the engine. Either on the thermostat housing or the intake manifold next the the thermostat housing.

I will next time i"m at the boat thanks Don.

I am not even sure the Performer intake came withe a hole for one or will it need to be taped..
