While replacing my engine thougt I would install a new circulating pump.

Being that I am FWC'd can I use an auto pump?

should be able too, use one for a corvette though. has the shorter legs to keep the pulley alignment.

I would use a marine pump, they have a brass impeller and stainless steel backplate. The auto ones will rust out.

one of these gear reduction units. spin faster with a lower amp draw.

Re: Circulating Pump

You're FWC, therefore you do not need a marine pump, it is not pumping raw water, it is pumping anti-freeze. You should be OK with an automotive one. Regarding your starter, I would just take it to a shop and get it rebuilt. It is much cheaper than a new one.

Have a great day,

Rob.
