evinrude 15 hp dont know what year

Just bought this motor and dont know what year or maybe what size, I cant find model #anywhere all I found was serial #15014-43067 can any body help me, cuz this is a cool motor and Im sure its gonna need parts and would like to get it running thanks

Welcome to iboats. I assume you have checked the stern bracket for the id tag correct?? Look all over the bracket, its usually on the port side. If no, or if its been painted, look for the frost plug. It is about the size of a quarter, usually on the rear top of the motor. It will have the serial and model number on it. Post it and we will be able to help you with the year, or look here for yourself. Gl

I seen that quater size plug and that same only apears there too

Found it, its a 1955
