Here is a similar picture of the van my father ues to have. It could tow almost anything. It was a 3speed and had a 7.5 liter 460 V8 which was fuel injected. It ot about 8 miles to the gallon towing and about 11 not towing. I beleive it had 20 gallon gass tanks.

my tow rig/wheelin rig is my 94 nissan hardbody. v6, 4x4, 5 speed. bunch of crap done to it. mainly, lifted about 5", on 35" MT's and a lockright locker.

1990 Chevy K1500. Bought it last year on eBay for $3600 from a little old man with only 85k miles on it. Cream puff you're thinkin'? I wish. Apparently disuse isn't always a good thing Issues with low oil pressure and internal coolant consumption led me to replace the engine this Spring. At least I got the chance to upgrade the 305 to a 350 But I basically had to re-buy the truck since the new engine set me back approximately the purchase price of the truck. It's running great now though and is in excellent condition. Not a speck of rust.

this is my 1995 F150 4.9L auto trans,auto lock hubs.she just this week turned over 50,000 miles

My explorer 4.0 V-6 automatic//pulls my 17 ft boat like a beetle bug pulls a semi.. not a very good puller,no B**'s at all,decided to remove the motor & trans and drop a chevy 350ci. (carborated) in with a turbo 400 auto.,I bet it will pull then..

both the green truck and the blue truck are my tow vehicals i just finnished putting a new chevy 350 in the blue one but the green one is my dd and the blue one is my offroad/ heavy towing vehcial

Impulse Buy!! Yesterday I picked this up as my new tow vehicle. It is a 2000 4Runner 4wd V-6. When this woman traded it in she handed me a file folder with a record of every service, oil change and everything that this vehicle has had done to it. Could not argue this is in fantastic shape.

Not to hijack a thread here, but how do I get the pictures to physically show up on the post... I figured out how to have them show up as a thumbnail, but I like how Bob_VT's pictures are, and several others -- they show up full-size.

I posed the question on another part of this site, but all I got was some guy that says, 'like this '. Then, he didn't even have the common decency to show how he did it!!!! I felt like I was in 3rd grade -- "I know something you don't know...." Unfortunately, I can't arrange teeth around on the internet like I did in 3rd grade.

I looked at your cars. Some pretty nice stuff there, especially the 57 Olds J2. It's always been 1 of my favorites.

The 57' Olds Convertible was, and still is my favorite "Classic" car. I am still seduced by it's styling, and the power of the J2 motor. Knowing what I know now, I should have gone thru hell, & high water to keep that vehicle.
