best prop for volvo 125 aq cuddy

hi i have decied to stay with a rt hand prop. problem i have is bayliner 19 ft cuddy with 125 aq most of the time will only run 28 mph with its 14 x19.6 prop.do i need to gowith a 14x17 or a 15x17 i want more top end speed and if poss better hole shot speed volvo says rpms should be 4500-48-- cruise range of 4300. drive unit and motor are in good shape cant see anythig wrong with hull.thanks in advance for your time and help.

hole shot and top speed don't usually go together.Is speed by GPS?
what kind of condition is your prop.
Need your present wot rpm also wouldn't hurt to describe your present hole shot.poor,fair ,good,very good.Also your typical load and activity.

.present wot rpms 4000prop was new.hole shot fair speed by gps ,usually oull tube or just run around lake.can live with holeshot ,would likwe more top speed .thanks for the help pressent wot rpm 4000 .at 28 mph.typical loadabout 650-700 pds

Based on present rpm I think a 14X15 will work.Should get you about 4,400 rpm great hole shot and perhaps some speed.More important it will put you closer to reccomended rpm.You might do a compression check just to confirm the health of your motor.I think the motor is probably ok when you say your hole shot is fair with over 19" pitch.
