Im sure a water pump rebuild is in order, do it first before that impeller explodes causing catastrophic consequences. Your thermostats could possibly be stuck as well.The thermostat is required to keep the outer wall surrounding the steel cylinder, and the cylinder wall itself at a temperture to compensate for the distortion of the pistons. How long was the motor running before she overheated??
