Back Country flats boat ,question

Looking at pro20ft ,1994 Back Country flats boat with a 2001 200opti max . Can't find any info on builder , vin#only has 11digits,should have 12? any info on this boat would be appreciated especially: what this boat sold for in 94 and what it might be worth today. Told moter has low hrs. :vin#BC1P233J494

Never heard of them. Actually, the HID (hull id number) should have 17 digits.

I would be wary.

They made superior boats and actually used tri-axial glass which is far superior to bi-axial. A friend of mine has a 17 which he has had for over 10 years. He did a lot of research before buying the boat and found it to be superior at the time. It's still near prestine after heavy regular use for over 10 years. Keep in mind that this is a person who knows how to treat a boat but that is still impressive to say the least. They take the boat for days at a time deep into the everglades and the florida bay. You can fit your whole body down inside the live release well which is directly rear of the console where you sometimes sit. The design is very well thought out. Tons of storage, all flush deck design. flush locking rod lockers in the tops of the gunnels. He actually has a fishing show and you can see the boat in some of the shots:
