Yes i'm pretty sure it is a canadian motor, It moved here from B.C. last year. I'm not quite sure where to find my model # could you guy's help me out with that one?? Thanks.
http://www.marinshopen.se This site will let you know the year of the motor once you have found the model number, it also might help you locate the model number I am not for sure. Once you enter the site you can go to model guide link on the top right hand side, this isn't an american link from what I have seen but it does list anything and everything as long as you have the model number. You may want to consider posting a picture of the motor if you have the ability to otherwise on this website on this thread. If I'm not mistaken the cowling/hood of the motor on my 1957 johnson see horse had the numbers but I could be wrong I no longer have that motor to double check this. Try looking on the motor mount somewhere under the cowling of the motor on the power head, don't hold me to it just a suggestion.
