When I was running the motor in a tank of water, I noticed that the bolt closest to the stern on the right side that holds on the lower unit seems to leak water. Is this normal?

Are you sure it is the bolt and not the weep holes? There are several weep holes under the cavitation plate to drain accumulated water out of several blind compartments next to the water pump. Water blowing down with the exhaust may be entering these compartments, draining out and running along the cav plate to the bolt before falling off. Double check.

Gunner, I had the same thing. It never had water comming out of the wheep holes before but that was because the little hole in the pump houseing was plugged on the old houseing. Frank did point that out to me. :D
