I have a 2000 Bayliner Capri 185 with the 3.0, 135 hp engine mated to an Alpha one out drive. I hooked it up to the hose yesterday and noticed something and I'm not sure if it means anything.
The housing that mates everything up to the transom (on exterior of boat) has two ports at the bottom where water returns to the sea. What I noticed was that water was flowing out of the drivers side and mostly mist from the other. I thought that maybe it would start to flow once the thermostst opened. It warmed up to operating temp and no change.

Problem? not a problem?
