Model 70573-b. This boat had not been runing since early 1990. It ran fine after I reintalled the card the owner took out that long ago. Shut it off quick and order the water pump kit and 3 Sierra 18-7042 Carburetor Kit from iboats. As much as I work in ob I have to admit I am no carb guy. The parts will not be here until tuesday or wednesday, so what can I do in the mean time. Should I soak these carbs in carb cleaner until the kit parts make it here? What can I use to clean it? I have not taken them appart yet.
Thanks!

You can get a "bath bucket", available at most auto parts stores to soak the carbs in while you wait. Just remove any rubber or plastic as this solution will destroy them. This video may help also if you have never done a rebuild. Good luck.

When you say bath bucket, is that just a bucket or does it comes with a solution. I just want to make sure I dont bathe this thing in something that might mess up the carb. I think everythig that is rubber is included in this kit, for exeption of the float. I will take the carbs appart anyway.
Thanks!
