150TXRA is a precison blend two stroke. most likly cause is an improperly replaced engine oil tank filter or a faulty engine oil tank sensor.
all are easy to check. if the engine sensor is removed drain the engine oil tank FIRST then make sure you retrieve the seal between the filter nipple and tank. ALWAYS use a new seal on reassembly.

could be I guess, rare on the later style mikuni pumps, at 7 dollars or so apiece you can either test or replace them.

Thanks for the info,,I will check he filters incase the dealer installed one of them wrong,,I was also told that it could have been the emergency oil override ,but this unit is only equiped with what appears to be a toggle switch not a module assembly,,,,yamaha doesnt seem to have a tech advise dept.,,pretty awlfull since we are the ones purchasing their products,,,,they might as well not sell you their service manuals!

It leakes oil when the engine is running @ cruising speeds, when we stop to fish their is a sleek coming out of the cowling,my gues is that it must be overflowing out of the carb, covers ,,,I dont want to use the boat and pollute the water,,,

The oil tank over fill drain hose hooks to the airbox. You need to check the sensor to be sure it is not causing the pump to run continously.
