Rebuilding prop tomarrow 11 1/2 x 14 1/4 on a 13foot figerglass boat not sure whats my stock prop only serial number . i got a 402 mercury 40 hp . should i get them to grind 1/2 inch more when rebuild ..or with 13 foot boat cool size .

rebuilding stock prop small ding ...just wanted to mod a new biger prop i bought for 60$ ..i would of tryed it like that but when trying to straiten out a bend it cracked .

comeon please help ..or il have to math what specs stat 12- 14 boat 13' middle looks right but ...i want a poptart.

Maybe if someone can make sense out of your post and figure out what your question is you will get some help, domains. All I can understand is that it has something to do with a prop or props, so I will move it to the Prop Forum.

Perhaps if you used just a smattering of punctuation, indicate exactly what prop you have now and what prop you are having rebuilt we might be able to help. If you paid $60 for a prop that was damaged you ate one too many pop tarts before you made the deal. Why not just check right here on iBoats for a stock replacement prop. You can buy a new prop for under $100 and not have to worry about all of this. Besides, you gave us no wide open throttle rpm using the existing prop. That is important information for propping an engine.
