Help!!! i'm going to buy a 1988 hydra-sport with 1997 150 hp johnson ficht o/b. the dealer says the compression is go and runs well..the motor looks new! No warrenty on it (aim i getting into trouble)...help,bill

yeah... stay away from ficht. That's part of the reason omc went under.

they were good motors, but way ahead of the service departments. no longer supported. find another one.
