I have found air in the engine fuel bowl. The motor (225OX66) will not go on plane but starts fine and idles OK. Could this be the low presure fuel pumps? i did check the fuel bowl for cracks and leaks and found none.

its difficult to assist unless you know the terminology.
there are no fuel bowls on an OX66 engine.
if the vapor seperator wont stay full inspect the fuel pumps and fuel lines for leaks or restrictions.
the fuel filter cup on the port side of the engine stays about 1/2 full during engine operation.

I was referring to the fuel filter cup. I am sorry i do not know all the correct terminology. I am replacing the three fuel pumps and the VST filter today. I will update the results later

not trying to bust chops here. but the correct terms are in the service manual and helps keep a confusing engine from becoming very confusing.
and if your not using a service manual you may sink yourself.
the VST and lift pumps are maint items.
