* Most, I think, my descendants. Thirteen and counting. I see them and who they are as my immortality and cherish them beyond words.

* The love of my life, Elizabeth (Leisel).

* The Hideout, and my life here.

* iboats.com, who have offered me the opportunity to continue to be useful and productive in retirement. So much more satisfying than simply waiting for God. :)

* My fellow Moderators, epitomes of cooperation and mutual support. I particularly value DJ and Ladyfish, whom I know personally and view highly as loyal, trusted friends.

*All of the iboats "gang" who challenge me regularly, test or support my values and, at the end of the day, always entertain me.

Re: What I am most thankful for.

My family.
All well and healthy.
My wife who has stood by me through it all.
My fellow mods here who I have never met in person but feel like I know them personally.
iboats for giving me a place to spread some cheer ever now and again and all the members here, although not eye to eye sometimes, would still wet a line with, anytime.
And to the ones I have had the pleasure of meeting in person and seeing that they are as real in person as they are on here.

My two young boys, that's an easy one. I can't take my eyes off them.

Re: What I am most thankful for.

The main one on my list is being thankful for living in a great country and able to speak freely.

I'm truely thankful for having parents and teachers that have taught me how to provide and care for my family.

As for iboats, I'm thankful for having the opportunity to meet SBN, gonfishin, and Brian FD as well as meeting many others online.

Re: What I am most thankful for.

I'm thankful almost everyday to the same degree as this one.
Except that this day has the added bonus of having my family close together and friends close in thought.

Happy Thanksgiving to all here on iboats.

My family, dont see them as much as Id like, distance is an issue, but hey Mom flew up today, we had fun and she gets to meet girfriend tomorrow :), my son is the absolute light of my life(9 soon), grown daughters(don't hear from the 21 yr old much , in Japan for now doin her school stuff), 18 yr old I hear from all the time and she visits. Girfriend is amazingly understanding, puts up with my long hours etc , her son is just like mine inage, good manners, etc and they are buddies, and Tday at her family was the BEST! Oh and damn she just happens to be amazingly gorgeous.....
A job that I LIKE even though a bit dangerous at times(but hey what a rush), challenging, getting more training, flexibility around son's schedule, and our baseball season starts in Feb!!!! My very favorite time of the year even though it is insane(7th year asst coaching), dinner, hmwk, etc and maybe son to bed by 9 pm. LOL. And i guess the ability to everyday do(for work) what I was supposedly not able to do, just gotta get over my fear of heights! :)
