Merc 350 MAG MPI Bluewater

May be purchasing a boat with two of these engines, inboard variety. FWC. Was told they were installed new in '04 and have 300 hours on them. This will all be verified through survey prior to purchase.

Just looking for general info on these engines... any known problems? maintenance issues? if maintained, how long should they last? could i expect to see 1000 hours before any major work? Any and all info is appreciated. Thanks-

Ayuh,.......

2 more copies of the 350 Chevy,(there's only a couple Bazillion of them out there) only with a Pretty Good MPI system......
Nice motor,...... Wish I had 1 laying around........

With Proper Maintance,...... 2000hrs.+ is entirely possibly.....Maybe More.....

2000+ on any FWC engine as long as you take care of it.....​
