I have a 67 johnson 5.5hp that runs real good, I put new coils in it, cleaned the points, motor looks good has a big scratch on hood. motor shifts good and stays in gear, what a fair price for it bring, with a good tank?
the guy I bought it from said water pump replaced 2 yrs ago. pumps good, it wouldn"t start last yr. because coils were bad. 300.00 would do it, I will put it on craigs list.
I'm assuming its a 1957 5.5 hp since they didn't make a 5.5 hp in 1967. I wouldn't expect that motor to bring more than $250. The dual line pressure tank is not a selling feature to most.
