GOOD NEWS. . . . The PICTURE UPLOAD FUNCTION IS WORKING !!! The tech folks at the parent company have been able to remedy the issue. You can upload pictures once again. Thank you for your patience.
There's already water in there from the spent cooling water that exits with the exhaust. The water inside the housing adds to the sound deadening and keeps the exhaust leg cool. You actually want water to be able to get OUT of there, so it doesn't freeze or add to existing corrosion...
