I want to repaint my Lark and it looks as though it was some sort of grey colour. Is there a colour code or name for it? And the 1965 Johnson; is that a standard Johnson white...or off white?

Re: What colour is a 1960 Lark?

Thanks, I've been to the old OMC site quite often. I was hoping there was a source of colour identifications for different motors. The hood and body of the Johnson look like two different shades of white. I hate it when I see old motors painted the wrong colours but that grey looks so industrial. I almost feel like painting it Evinrude blue like my 75hp.
I hope the 40hp can get my 10 foot two seater out of the water like that.

I don't remember them being that industrial looking. Anyhoo, there is a good list of colors at http://www.nymarine.ca/
Now to figure out which one it is. Platinum Mist???? Peter knows for sure...his colors are exact or he won't make them.
