surf launching tips?

im having a tough time launching my 10' zodiak in the surf. its small bay surf but i dont have any experiance so the two times ive done it have been a very wet,... experiance.

any help appreciated!

You'll probably get more responses if you post this in the general discussion forum instead of the saltwater fishing forum.

Watch and time the wave sets. Launch on backsides and you are going to get wet in a 10' boat if theres any surf at all.
