Billy Crystal playing in a Yankee pre-season game? Maybe this August I'll have the pleasure of seeing Henny Youngman as Nose tackle for the Giants!!!!!! Even our national pastime has succomb to the Hollywood-types turning every sporting event into a pageant. I liked it better when they just played ball or drove fast.​

What can you say to that, other than AMEN. Man I hate it when they ruin a perfectly good sport. If they want it to be popular again, all they have to do is play it the way they did when it was popular back then.

Nah, I'm just concerned being a New York Sports fan that this is gonna open up a can of worms for all pre-season sports to become a celebrity showcase. I would not mind, but I am a NY Giant season ticket holder who is forced to purchase $650 worth of pre-season tickets every season, and if they turned it into a circus like the Yankees, I'd be ticked-off.

BTW- I knew Henny was napping in the dirt basement, thought it was part of the joke​
