Guys,
Started to pull out my old rotten transom on my 63 starcraft holiday. iwill post some pics later, but so far it is going well. The question I have is there are severel mounts that are screwed in to the outside of the transom that are no longer used. I would like to take them out for good and I am wondering what would be the best why to plug the holes. I want to make sure no water seeps in and gets into the wood behind the aluminum.
Thanks,
James

James i usually use those as mounting holes. seal the bolts with 3m 5200, if they are never to come out, bolts like motor mounting that may need to come out some day, use 3m 4200 to seal. this one had just a few in it.
