To get the best service life out of them, it's best that the kinibblin pins and whatchagaskets be replaced too.

...they have a lot of good stuff. I recently bought a bindeldorfer housing from them.....works great, despite the smell.

Ha! Ha! Where did the muffler come out of? The bottom of Lake Superior. No wonder the muffler bearings were shot!!!

Guess I need to check mine. Since you reminded me. I'll put that on my Spring to do list. It's not long enough yet anyway.

I use prop wash to clean my muffler, helps to locate the bearing.

If you really want your muffler bearing to last you have to do two things.
1- Make sure it is the correct rotation, i.e. left-hand or right-hand and
2. Make sure to pack it with spermicidal lubricant for maximum rust resistance.
