I can't fine the opening on my muffler, or do I have to pull it off to get at it.

Yes you do. Just make sure you use the Muffler Puller with the open end on the muffler.

If you really want your muffler bearing to last you have to do two things.
1- Make sure it is the correct rotation, i.e. left-hand or right-hand and
2. Make sure to pack it with spermicidal lubricant for maximum rust resistance.

If i use spermicidal lubricant will that stop my muffler from bulging from the bearing multiplying.

Yes, Yes it does....it also reduces the torque multiplication of the directional baffling.

It's easier to change the muffler bearings if you order a sky hook to lift the vehicle. Might as well order a bucket of elbow grease while you're at it.
