Gregmsr: If I remember correctly, Gojo is soap suspended in propylene glycol. Not only is propylene glycol an excellent solvent for oil and grease, it is an excellent lubricant for rubber. It should not hurt your force water pump impeller.

Re: Go-jo

Ahhhhh, Greg-----I was in the store earlier--now forgive me, I havn't used hand cleaners in years--But the Gojo I saw contained PUMICE. Pumice is an abrasive. So read your label--if it contains pumice or if it feels gritty, wash it out before turning over the engine.

If you start the engine in water, it will probably wash out really quickly and do very little harm; a lot of water goes through that pump and sometimes it is silty, but why take the chance?

Thanks Frank, no PUMICE. Don't buy it with grit, don't like it.
