2005 4 stroke F15 no power to motor

Getting no power to motor- can't trim and won't start. All other electronics work properly. Have replace battery and checked the fuses. I have a Perko starter- could that be bad? Only have about 50 hrs on the motor. Any suggestions? I know very little about boats as I'm a mom who's son just wants to fish tomorrow.

Have you got a battery isolator swiitch on the boat near the battery? check that it is on, and that the connections are clean and tight; is the lanyard clipped onto red lanyard switch? is the shift lever in nuetral, move the shift lever back and forth to enasure it is engage in nuetral, there is a cutoff switch which will cut power to the solenoid and starter; the fuse should be 20amp check with a meter; from the cdi unit there is white wire which goes to the engine stop switch, which has a black lead top ground, inspect this wire to ensure it is not shorted.
