I am looking to buy a boat and the one i'm looking at says that the boat needs to be plumbed. Does anyone know what that means?

If it's an I/O or inboard, it may mean the cooling system needs work.

Otherwise, it may mean that the bilge and livewell(s) (if equipped) need to be hooked up.

Yea, it means you have to throw fruit at it to make it run...just kiddin! What make and model is it? The only way I could think of to "plumb" a boat, would be to run the hoses. Fuel, fuel vent, oil injection, livewell, raw water washdown, etc. If I/O add engine hoses and hydraulic lines. I'm not sure...ask the dude who's selling it.
