yamaha trim position switch

Just broke the trim position switch on an 03 ox66, 200 hp. Switch will have to be replaced. Expected to follow the 2 wires from the position switch up to the dry side under the cowl and find some disconnect plugs. Only thing I can see is the wires going into a rubber tubeing, into the cowl area and continuing out the engine with the rest of the wires and hoses. Got to be some disconnect somewhere on the engine. Are the wires terminated right at the position switch or are there some disconnect plugs inside the protective rubber tubing? thanks FRED

the dissconnect is under the cowl, if ya need me to I can run up and show you. easiest if you have a small dental pick.
I can show you a trick they dont teach in school.
