Please read the rules, muskygirl. This is a retail establishment that sells marine related products, including manuals. Even if it wasn't forbidden by our rules it would be very rude to come here asking for a freebie.

Hey, I wasn't trying to be rude........I didn't see any harm in asking if anyone had these laying around and no longer needed them - and didn't see anything in the rules that says I couldn't do that other wise.

I will chalk this up as I am not wanted here and be gone.

Didn't think you did it on purpose, muskygirl. It is not always easy or pleasant to enforce our rule against soliciting members in the forum to buy, sell or give, but it is the rule.

If you simply ask for suggestions about where you can get one any member who has one to give away (or sell) can PM you a proposal for a private transaction that does not involve iboats or the forums.

Hi there muskygirl, please believe you are more than welcome here. This is a fantastic site and has helped me a great deal. I did a lot of lurking before I finally joined, and consider it one of the smartest things I ever did when it comes to boating. Stick around for a while and get a feel for this site it truly is a fantastic resource.
