Stolen property returned

I got a package from my sister today. I opened it up and there was my old 8-track tapes from when my car was broken into in 1974. My sister said that a house was raided near her town and the police found them amongst thousands of other stolen items. At that time I had put my name and address on them engraved into the plastic. Wow, just unbelieveable that after all this time I get them back.

Now to find an old 8 track player to listen to my Gene Tracy Truck Stop tapes Then of course the others like Steppenwolf, Three Dog Night, Bread, Doors and others from that time frame. Pinch me somebody, I still can't believe the good luck I've been having lately,,,,,,of course except for my teeth getting knocked out...........SS

The Gene Tracy tapes were a hoot!! LOL,i had about all of them..

I had a 357 Magnum stolen and it returned about 10 years later!
Cops found it in Maryland..

If they are still in good condition, they are worth FAR more today as collectors items, than they were back then as new.

Actually I found the one that was orginally in my boat. I had it stored in my garage (among many many other things old) I'm thinking about putting it back in the boat just to have the old stuff again.

I still remember many jokes off Gene's tapes. One of my favorites was with the Avon saleslady with gas in an elevator with a drunk

My wife asked me about the one labeled "Head Cleaner",,,,I said no dear,,it is not a dirty tape" Sometimes I just don't know what she is thinking, but sometimes that is good
