So I recently purchased a 1988 IMP. 27' cruiser, with twin 3.7LX's. Boat needed a good clean up and some mechanical work but for what I paid it was beyond worth it. I started by dragging it home and cleaning it. My other half got the best of me and cleaning turned into... well the pics should speak for themselves. Enjoy. :D

That's funny. I was thinking it looked pretty darn good in the first couple pics! So what are the new projects?

It actually was in very nice shape. There were some stains here and there, some adjusting needed on cabinets and some more thorough cleaning. I started with the intentions of taking things out, bagging and tagging, cleaning them, refinishing trim, and putting it back. I got to the point where rebuilding would be easier. I plan to move the galley and lounge, making the 49" long space next to the head the new galley, and the 69" long space next to the stairs the new lounge/sleeping area. I plan to add a TON of solid wood in there, redo the carpet, and wood trim, and maybe the wall covering/ceiling.

I am the type of person that likes to rebuild what I have an make it more mine. I did so with my car, now with the boat.
