Force 50 Transom Clamp Question

I just acquired a 1990 Force 50 with power T&T. The transom mount doesn't have the screw clamps, only holes for bolts to bolt through the transom. I don't want to put holes through my transom. Is there a conversion kit or clamp kit I can buy? Are there other options to not drilling holes. I have a 9.9 kicker motor I want to mount along side the force 50 so having side to side adjustment on the transom would be nice.

Thanks
Tim

Re: Force 50 Transom Clamp Question

First, it is not acceptable to mount a single engine (as opposed to twin engine installations) anywhere but centered on the transom.

Second, even if you were to get a screw clamp conversion (which I doubt) a 50 horse engine MUST be bolted at least on the bottom of the clamps. So if you are going to need to drill two holes for the bottom of the clamps, what's two more at the top? ---in for a dime, in for a dollar.

So in a word: NO

If room is the problem, buy a separate mount for the kicker.
