I have an older fiberglass Procraft fishing boat and noticed a couple of dings in the fiberglass on the center of the hull under the normal water line. They are no bigger then the end of you finger and don't go through all the way, but you can see the fiberglass fibers in one spot. I thought I better patch them up, although there is no telling how long they have been like that. What is the best material for the job. A friend said to get a fiberglass repair get and just use the resin mixture to fill in the chips. Has any one tackled this problem before that can make a recommendation. Thanks JayE

Clean good first; acetone and white vinegar.
