Greetings all,On my first outing of the season,(day befor yesterday) I determined my transom on 98 1850 Tyee was junk. After diving in I noticed no sealer on the drains,or bolts.I am going to try and fix this myself with the right material as well as encasing this in resin prior to installing the new one.My question is how far do I nee to go to get this out. There are some braces that the bolts (hidden)are coverered in foam on the lower portion behind the livewells that attach to the transom.I realize I am going to have to cut and reweld the top of th ecap on atleast one side to gat it in out and back in again.Has anyone ever replaced these on this model? I am not sure how to gain access to the lower braces.Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.

No problem.I'm at a standstill now.I can't access those darn lower bolts with out making some holes in the rear splash panel.
