4 Horse Carb settings

Hello..Put A carb kit in a 1990 4 Hp yamaha last night and seemed to rectify the issues it was having, but i cant get the idle quite right. Does anyone know what the initial setting should be for the only idle screw there is to turn? And possibly if there is any other adjustment that would pertain to the idle?.. Sorry i don't have a model # offhand.. Just the year and Hp. Thanks in advance..

turn the screw inwards to soft stop, then outwards 1 & 1/2 full turns ......
