I'd like to thank all the veterans who served for us . I hope that as you pay tribute to all the fallen friends and family this Memorial day , that you know that we share your sorrow , admire your strength , and feel proud of you!

no worries.
however Id wish other than just vets, that all service members either active, retired or with an honerable dischage would get thanks.
it takes all of us either in peactime or war time to keep the machine oiled.

Agreed , and allways offered . As I was preparing to go to my dad's plot (WWII Vet) I was thinking of all the service people stepping off flags , preping dress uniforms for services + parades etc . I guess I didn't consider the two groups seperate - even tho the government dose . Thanks for serving .

The debt thats owed to Americas Veterans and service men can not possibility be repaid. But know you have the thanks respect, and gratitude of not only the people of this nation, but that of every person who's life was/is made better, safer, freer by your sacrifices. Thank You.

Re: Thanks To all the Veterans

"It is, in a way, an odd thing to honor those who died in defense of our country, in defense of us, in wars afar away. The imagination plays a trick. We see these soldiers in our mind as old and wise. We see them as something like the Founding Fathers, grave and gray-haired. But most of them were boys when they died, and they gave up two lives, the one they were living and the one they would have lived. When they died, they gave up their chance to be husbands and fathers and grandfathers. They gave up their chance to be revered old men. They gave up everything for our country, for us. And all we can do is remember." - Ronald Reagan

Amen!
