Yesterday I pulled the boat out of the water... as usual, but did not see that the crew, (wife and kids) had not exited first! The resulting extra weight caused my keel to bend inward against the trailiers roller, at a point just under a bench seat (1953 Aerocraft 14'). I immediately noticed that the area began to leak. After the weight was removed, the aluminum returned (mostly) to its original position. Here is my game plan... drill a large access port on the bow side of the bench seat that can cover with a 6" deck hatch. Buy Gluvit and apply from the inside... bathing that entire area... wait 48 hours and pray.
Is this a good plan or do you have a better way?
Thanks
