Hi,
My dad just passed away and I am trying to find his boat. I started a charity and will be having a fishing tournament in his name next year ALL proceeds will be going to a Moffitt Lung Cancer Institute. If anyone knows the current owner of his boat I would really like for him to bring the boat.I will pay the expense to get to florida. I believe it was a 1990 or 1991 it was a Sunbird with a cuddy I think it was called a runabout the boat was named Kokomo and the letters where bamboo. It had a bimini not a hard top and was an ocean fishing boat. There was a seat up front for two and the anchor stuck out with a little platform in the front. I/O I think a chevy motor. Unfortunately I dont have pictures yet but I know it was auctioned by john deere Credit in 1997 they said they dont go back that far so if anyone has seen this boat or knows where I can find the owner please please contact me. That boat meant the world to him and I would love to find it.

First of all I am sorry for your loss, having been through that situation I feel for for you.

If you had a hull number or tag number it would make this search alot easier but to be realistic finding an 18 year old boat that was sold 11 years ago is going to be tough.

Contact your local BMV they may be able to help but as I said this is a real long shot, 18 years is a long time for a boat.
