are the wiring diagrams the same?

I just switched out my 48hp spl with a J70TLEND 1992, and I am not getting any fire now. The wiring harnesses were the same, but when I turn the motor over i do not have fire now. The motor ran when I took it off the other boat, so I'm kinda stumped. Would the wiring diagram that i have for my 48 be the same as for my 70?

If it is a red plug harness it should be the same. Check your grounds and that all your connections are clean and tight. Then use a spark tester with the plugs out and a good battery to check for spark.
