Does anyone have any information on a 1988 Chris Craft Scropion 210? I would be interested in any pictures, articles, or even pictures of your boat if it is close . I have had little luck finding any pictures. I have also tried looking in forsale ads. Thank You

This boat is an I/O with a center mounted engine and a jack shaft. Where can I find out information for the jack shaft?

I tried posting a picture, but could not. The boat is called a ski jack. It looks like the same as the link you sent me. Thank You.

Are you sure the boat your refering to is a Chris craft Scorpion 210. The scorpion 210 is a regular I/O (stern drive)with the motor against the stern some have seats on either side and some just have the sun deck. either bowrider or cuddy. They were made at least since 1982to ? I have never seen a scorpion that wasnt an I/O

I starting finding out information that some were made with a rear engine I/O and some with a center mounted engine with an I/O. Mine is the second. Typically if a boat has a center mounted engine it has a direct prop.

Are you looking for pictures of the Center Counsel Scorpion 210 that looks like a sports fisher (later models named SeaHawk)?

no the cuddy model with motor at the stern, the motor is a 228hp 305 and the outdrive is the pre alpha,it drifts straight, doesn't take on water, and has plenty of room for storage and fishing.thats about all i know about it other than it's a 82 21ft scorpion 210 with thejump seats next to the motor cover and needs a little TLC.I just got it two days ago and am looking for all the info i can get.

Hi I bought a 1984 21'6 cuddy cabin. Its a scorpion 210 With 228 motor I got all the original paper work, stickers, manuals, and even the tags that were hanging off the boat and motor when purchased. Igot it for dirt cheap, with trailor. I ripped off the sterndrive and replaced the top end,Iv'e gone throught the motor which those 305 gm motors are not your typical motors there 4 bolt main extra, extra stout industrial grade motors. Its my first boat I repainted the boat,I will go throught the Interior this winter. This my first computer as well. I would like to show the pictures, but I dont know how to put them on here. the # you can call mercruiser at 1-920-929-5040,they can tell you alot with your #. If anyone wants to know the specs for any 84 models I got the sales brochure.

Are you sure it is a jackshaft? Jackshaft was introduced by Albemarle in 1986 and I've never heard of it used in any other type of boat.<br /><br />Go here for general Jackshaft info:<br /><br /> http://www.albemarleboats.com/aboutus/jackshaft.html

Four Winns had a late '80's model called the 267 Quest available in 2 different I/O configurations. One had the motor in the stern, the other had the motor mounted amidships between the helm seats. That variant used a jackshaft to the outdrive.
