it isnt the same? if not sorry i thought most johnson/rudes shared the same ignition switch layout. (common to the omc) Tommorow i'll try to see if my manual covers your motor, what year is the 200hp?

its a 93 but the ignition is aftermarket there was a guy that gave me link before i was hoping he would be around but if you can help let me know'

hmm, if you can figure out what brand/model the aftermarket switch is then you could look up a diagram online. Failing that if the wiring harness is standard from the engine side you should be able to cross reference the wire terminals. Replacement Omc/Johnson/Rude switches are pretty cheap at boating supply stores. You might try in the johnson/evinrude engine forum and get better results.
