Champion L77J4 or L77JC4?

Does anyone know what is the difference between Champion L77J4 and a Champion L77JC4 spark plug? The service book and online charts shows different spark plugs for the same motor. I have a 1979 35hp Johnson. Thanks.

They are the same plug. The C stand for copper plus design. You should be using the L77JC4.
